Online Bass Booster
A bass booster raises the level of low frequencies while leaving the rest alone. This one uses an adjustable low-shelf filter: pick a cutoff between 60 Hz and 300 Hz, and everything below it comes up by as much as 15 dB.
Boost the low end

Processed on your device — nothing is uploaded. Loud audio can damage hearing: lower your system volume before boosting, then raise it gradually.
Cutoff frequency matters more than the amount
The cutoff decides what counts as bass. Set it low, around 80 Hz, and you are lifting only the deep foundation — kick drum weight, bass guitar fundamentals, rumble. Set it high, around 300 Hz, and you are also raising the lower body of vocals and guitars, which is what makes a mix sound thick and muddy rather than powerful.
If a boost is making things sound worse rather than bigger, the cutoff is usually too high. Bring it down before reducing the amount.
Frequently asked questions
Does bass boosting damage speakers?
Sustained heavy bass boost at high volume can, particularly on small drivers, by pushing them beyond their designed excursion. At normal listening levels with sensible settings this is not a realistic risk, but if you hear buzzing or rattling, reduce it.
Why does my audio get quieter overall when I boost bass?
It should not — but the limiter after the filter responds to the added low-frequency energy by pulling everything down. That is it protecting the output. Lower the boost or the output gain to give it less to react to.
Is bass boost the same as an equalizer?
A bass booster is a single-purpose equalizer. A full equalizer gives you the same low-shelf plus four more bands.
