About Booster Volume

Booster Volume is a free, independent set of browser-based audio tools for making quiet audio louder and clearer. Everything runs on your device. There is no account, no upload, and no paid tier.

Why this exists

Searching for a volume booster mostly returns downloads of uncertain provenance and websites that promise system-wide amplification a web page cannot deliver. We wanted a tool that does one thing properly and is honest about where the limits are.

The processing is real. The tool builds a Web Audio graph in your browser — a gain node, a compressor, a soft-clipping waveshaper and an analyser — and runs your audio through it. You can read what each stage does on how volume boosting works.

What we will not do

Claim capabilities we do not have
A web page cannot boost another site's audio or amplify DRM-protected streams. We say so on the pages where people expect otherwise.
Invent social proof
There are no user counts, testimonials, review scores or awards on this site, because we do not have any to report.
Imply affiliations
We are not affiliated with Google, Apple, Microsoft, YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, Twitch or any other company named on this site.
Make medical claims
We are not audiologists. We include hearing-safety notes because loud audio genuinely carries risk, and we point to professionals for anything beyond general caution.
Upload your audio
Files are processed locally. Nothing is transmitted or stored.

How the content is written

The device and troubleshooting pages describe settings we have located and verified in the platforms concerned. Operating systems change, menu names move between versions, and manufacturers rename things — so where a path may vary we say so rather than presenting one version as universal.

If you find something inaccurate or out of date, tell us. Corrections are the most useful thing you can send.
