Privacy Policy

The short version: audio files you load into any tool on this site are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded, transmitted or stored by us.

How audio is handled

When you select a file, your browser reads it into memory on your own device. The audio is decoded and passed through a Web Audio processing graph that also runs locally. At no point is the file or any part of it sent over the network.

The same applies to tab audio capture. The captured stream is processed in your browser and discarded when you stop capturing. Nothing is recorded or retained.

Closing the tab discards everything. There is no storage of your audio on this site, and no account under which anything could be stored.

What is collected

Standard server logs
Like nearly all websites, requests may be logged by our hosting provider — typically IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
No advertising trackers
No ad networks, no cross-site tracking scripts, nothing loaded from a third-party advertising domain. The disclosure explains how the site is paid for instead.
No account data
There is no sign-up, so there is no name, email address or profile associated with your use of the tools.
Email you send us
If you email us, we hold that message in order to reply. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not operate accounts and do not collect audio, the personal data we hold is minimal — generally limited to server logs and any correspondence you initiate.

To make a request, or to ask what is held, email contact@booster-volume.com.
